Dion is 12 years old and began singing with the Newington College Chapel Choir when he was 8 years old.

In 2003 he sang the 'Pie Jesu' in a short film "Blessed". Dion was the only child soloist for Radio 702 ABC Christmas Stars 2003 CD with his performance of "Once in Royal David's City".

In 2005 he joined the children's chorus with Opera Australia's "Tosca". Dion performed a hauntingly beautiful solo at the ANZAC International Military Tattoo in Sydney 2006 accompanied by a 200 voice choir and 400 musicians including the Band of the Grenadier Guards, Her Majesty's Royal Marines, the New Zealand Army Band and the Tongan Royal Corps of Musicians. He sang in the children's chorus for "Hansel & Gretel" and is presently rehearsing for Opera Australia's 2006 summer season with "The Magic Flute".

Dion has performed in various concerts including the MLC School African Sanctus, Newington College's Musical "Guys & Dolls" and with the Sydney Welsh Choir. He has performed for weddings, church services and functions.

Dion is presently rehearsing with Opera Australia's Batavia as a junior principal. His CD Purely Dion is available through ABC Shops in Australia. - 2006
