Dennis Naseband joined the Tölzer Knabenchor in 1987 when he was 7 years old. In 1991 he became a soloist under the training of the choirs director Prof. Gerhard Schmidt-Gaden. His first performance was in the Magic Flute at the Montpellier Opera House, and he made many more performances thereafter with the Bavarian State Opera, Scala in Milan and the Opera de la Bastille in Paris. Dennis Naseband played the part of Sesto in Graun's Cleopatra e Cesare at the gala performance to mark the bicentenary of the Deutshe Staatsoper on Berlin's Unter den Linden avenue. He recorded Pergolesi's Stabat Mater shortly after his performance at the Schwetzingen Festival in June 1992.
