| Liner Notes: Daniel Ludford-Thomas was born in Northampton in 1973 and receives his formal and musical education locally. He joined the church choir
(St Matthew's Church, Northampton) at the age of seven, developing quickly into a soloist and eventually becoming Head Chorister. In 1986 he became 'Choirboy of the Year', an event sponsored by B.E.T. and this let to many radio, television and concert engagements, including performances at the Barbican Centre with the composer Howard Blake and the Sinfonia of London. Since 1984 Daniel has been a member of the Southern Cathedral Singers, a group organised by the Royal school of Church Music and conducted by a member of its staff. He is also an accomplished flautist and pianist and has featured amongst the prizewinners at the 1986 Nothhamptonshire Music Festival.
After his voice broke Daniel Ludford-Thomas won choral scholarships to Wells Cathedral and Durham Cathedral where he read music at the university. He is now a tenor, amember of St Brides Church Choir and Head of Singing at Dulwich College.
